Wednesday Odds and Ends

I don't have a bird to post today and Wednesday Hodge Podge is taking a break, so I'm at a loss as to what to post. So, I went back to the State Fair and found some odds and ends which might be of interest.

I like to people watch. As a writer, I'm always looking for interesting characters. I found a few at the fair but only took a couple of pics—secretly.

Does anyone really think this is an attractive look? I know I'm getting old but I don't  understand gaudy hair colors. And then there is the purse. I love green, but alongside the hair color—oh my!

This I like. Do you suppose this guy is a patriotic train engineer?

And speaking of patriotic...

Ending with Scott's Law. Do you have a Scott's Law in your state? This officer lived, but he was seriously injured.

No linking today. Happy Wednesday!

We do have the move over/slow down law in my state, and it was needed! I like the dude in the overalls and train hat..he is styling! I don't much care for these off the wall hair colors, but to each her own I guess!

It would be fun to do a whole bunch of posts of "candid" secretly taken shots of people. People can be a hoot! Anyway, I like the train conductor and the patriotic display on the pole. Wonderful that they had a display showing Scott's Law. Never heard of it, but in almost every state these days you do see signs asking people to slow down or move over, and obviously that's SOOO important. This law I am sure had it's effect on the changes after one of many senseless tragedies.

By the way, if you love trains, check out my latest post! :-) Also, I used to be the Coordinator of the Suffolk Seaboard Museum and there is a TV spot located on my sidebar under Favorite Posts called Postcards. Check it out.

I have never heard of Scott's Law. That woman with the hair, yikes! I think it is fun for teenagers and young people to experiment with different hair colors, but they need to watch what they wear. And they need to be young. Don't know why, it just looks better that way. You're right!!! The man looks just like a train engineer!!!

I don't know what to say about the hair...maybe she thought red and green go good together. Or maybe trying for new Christmas theme?

I wouldn't dye my hair that color, but I don't like to judge others. It obviously makes her happy and it isn't hurting anyone... so why not! :)

I love to people watch and I especially like taking photos of people who don't know I'm doing it. :)

Scott's law should be common sense but since a lot of people have no sense at all, I'm glad there's a law.

We have the move over/slow down law in my state. Yeah, the hair is weird.. never have understood it. I like the bibs and shirt! State Fairs are a great place for odds and ends!

Perhaps a candidate for "What Not To Wear". :-) Then again, I think some people just like the attention.

The girl with the hair is quite a sight, but I love those jeans! Did you notice the fleur de lis pockets? I want those! :) Yes, we have that law in our state; didn't know it had a name. I'm always learning things out here in blogland.

I love this post, and agree with your thoughts here, all of them!

I don't understand the crayon box hair colors, but every generation seems to want to make a name for itself in one way or another.

I do like Mr. Patriotic's look.

Not sure our law is called Scott's Law, but we definitely have a move over/slow down law here.
